My 2011 Silver Edition came with some weird cancer on two of the stock wheels. Bought some Frontier wheels for a song on FB and put AT tires (General) on them. Looks and drives much nicer. Will my Parhfinder eventually “find” the sensors from the Fromtier and tirn the TPS light off or how do I fix that?

Not on an '11, you'll need to have them programmed. If they're D41 wheels then I'm not even sure the sensors are compatible with your BCM, you might need to change them. I'm pretty sure D40 wheels would code okay. Most tire stores can code the wheels for you, but if you find they won't code, it will be because the sensors are wrong.

You'll find diy instructions there if the tpms sensors are communicating with your BCM. I don't see why Nissan would change the frequency.

For the OP, make sure to use an accurate tire gauge. The DIY set pressures are only 3 psi apart and most Nissan BCM's don't generally tolerate a lot of slop. Using a cheapo gauge can lead to an afternoon of frustration thinking something is wrong with your car. It's also best done in a traffic-free setting, since all TPMS's transmit data at 315 or 433 MHz and these will be the same frequencies for passing cars and a lot of garage door openers. If you go with aftermarket sensors, most of the popular ones are "multi megahertz" and can handle whatever frequency a particular car wants. Differences are generally in the encoding and not the frequency. They're not all straight Manchester in a predetermined standard format. I frankly don't know what format Nissan uses, the Tech-II tool handles that for us and I've never taken a deep dive into the data structure.

HI! Sorry I posted and disappeared, I didn't get any notifications I don't think that people were responding. I'm on another board for Pathfinders too and it's completely dead so I stopped checking the forums in general. I will re-read what everyone said and see what I can figure out. I have one other issue that is the p0101 MAF code. I replaced the MAF with a Hitachi one from Rock Auto but still get the code. Going to take it to the dealer to be reprogrammed per what people have said online. Also, I have a recall apparentlty that needs to be handled.... Love the car in general so far, the handling, cargo room, towing capacity and 4wd really make it a unique option with only a few competitors. I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee too that is comparable but way slower and more primitive.

P0101 is almost never from a bad MAF. MAF's generally flatline when they fail, that would give you a P0102. P0101 is a "catchall" code for anything wrong in the induction which the ECM can't figure out. There's a bulletin for an ECM reprogram for P0101 with no drivability issues...

...but before you pay a dealer for that, make sure you have no vacuum leaks, put in a new air filter and PCV Valve, and perform an IAVL (Idle Air Volume Learn) on the MAF. The latter should have been done with a new MAF anyway, your replacement is now uncalibrated.
