That's a September 2003 article, and apparently an early intro to the current gen P/F. BTW, that link is a little odd . . . you have to click on "Previews" a couple of times to get to the correct page.

hahaha you are not the only one that noticed. I bet it is new technology and it displayed in the interior cabin like a back-up camera. Those appear to just be that sideview cameras..cool!

First thing I thought was "oh, it's a jeep." Then I noticed the lack of door handles & knew something was fishy. Maybe it's the pre-2005 PF concept that helped shape the R51 into what it is. Still waiting to see the results from the next model change myself.

I agree, the dual exhaust looks very sharp as well as the headlights & tailights. Everything else does look like a jeep.

No. Like SilverGhost and Steve said, this is a concept of the current generation. Look at the sheet metal. It's that same as what we have now. Just add some futuristic looking lights, wheels, and tech (i.e. side mirrors) and you have a concept vehicle. Same thing you see with most Nissan / Infiniti concepts.

you forgot the mandatory light colored interior, with unusual seats. two more typical concept car "features".
