Intake install problem

Postby slowdriver » Mon Sep 07, 2009 12:08 pm

Hey guys I'm new here and my first post is a problem, ha.

I just bought a 2004 platinum edition Pathfinder and decided to install an intake on it. I bought the piping myself and filter. The back hose by the throttle body is plugged in and right in front of the MAF sensor is a hole where I plugged in the vacuum line. Everthing is attached and in order like it was stock. I took it out and it was freaking awesome, I loved it.
This morning though I got in it and it wont go past 3500 rpms
Now I really regret installing this. I don't see anything wrong and everything is connected.

I read something on the air relearn procedure and was wondering if that would fix this or if I have a major problem now.

Oh ps the car has 60k miles if that means anything.

Thank guys

BTW my name is Mike

Nevermind just disconnected battery for a day and it runs perfect now :)

Anyone know if they make headers for the pathfinder?

I'll be doing the exhaust myself.

This is a pretty fun SUV
