Installed my Airlift 1000 yesterday.

I got the Airlift in on Tuesday but with family in town I did not have the time. I fallowed the instructions but it was so easy with out because I install Airbags on Semi tractors trailers. I put 35psi in the bags and drove around town to get them set in the springs. after 5hrs of letting them sit for a leak test. I lowered them down to 25psi. I think 25 rides like a pickup or my old 92 Ford Explorer. I like the air springs, Great Mod.

Did you jack the truck up to get spring extension on installation. Im looking into getting some of these bad boys and am just trying to figure out if I can get the install done on my own.

I just installed mine and it took 20 min. Just jack up the rear until the tires leave the ground. Then compress the bags and slide them into the springs. I was able to do it by hand. Then run the air lines and your done. It was the easiest mod I have ever done. Good luck.

Yes the same with me. It took me no longer than 30mins and I did not need to jack up the PF.

got my air lift springs last week from 4x4parts.com. Installed in about an hour. Probably lifted the truck about an inch. Very cool.

Next week I am installing the Bilstein shocks I got with the same shipment.

Installed mine on Saturday. Took about an hour and a half (atleast half of that was jacking the vehicle up, removing tires, etc).

I also noticed a big difference in the ride.

Well after having it on for some time now I have to say 100% happy with my Airlift. I've been camping with 3 people (400lbs), 2 Labs (200lbs), gear 200lbs, and towing a 14ft fishing boat (100lbs toung weight) and the rear never of the Pf never even sank 1". For the PF its a must have.

I just did mine the other day and am quite happy with it. Have yet to try out 4 people in the vehicle, but I notice that the rear end isn't as soft (I have about 15-20psi in the bags).

Took me about an hour and half, but part of that was spent looking around work for something to use for a bracket to mount the 2 air valves. Definitely a bit of a pain to get the bags inside the springs but if you pre-run the hose and top ring and attach them to the bags before you put them in, it makes it easier. Then once the bag is in the spring, let the air fill it up and giggle it around to position it.
