Different than what? Sorry, but your question is somewhat oblique. The Airlift kit (4WD) is not for 2WD PF's, if that's what you're asking. I've been there . . . done that. They recommend, but I don't think they warranty, the kit for the Kia Sorento. Firestone, on the other hand sells and warranty's a kit for the 2WD PF. Personally, I've done neither, but I'm inclined to go with Firestone.bellwilliam wrote:anybody know if 2WD Path use a different part number ?
my question was whether anyone here ever installed it in a 2WD Path.SilverGhost wrote:Different than what? Sorry, but your question is somewhat oblique. The Airlift 1000 "supports" the saggy rear end of the PF's. My PF sags a little bit with just my two labs(200#'s) in the back. When towing, the Airlift will support your rear end as well as enhance the handling of the vehicle. As for saving gas, I can't see how it would save any, unless it just prevents unnecessary up and down movement of vehicle which could I guess use up more fuel.se7en wrote:ok a few questions about airlift 1000:
1. does this help save gas?
2. if this stiffens up the back - what about the front?
3. is this only to help out with towing?
thanks
Read through this thread. Several of us previously looked closely at that issue.marvmmarv wrote:Could you provide more information about the measurements? How does the 2WD spring compare to the 4WD spring? Thanks.
