Titan/Armada brake swap to PF?

Postby pearl62 » Thu Sep 24, 2009 8:49 am

Does anyone know if the Armada 12.6" (320mm) or 13.8" (350mm) rotor can fit the 05+ Pathfinder? I'm mostly interested if the Titans use calipers brackets to hold the caliper a little further out. They aren't shown in any diagrams I've seen.

The part numbers for the master cylinder, front spindle and calipers are the same, so I am thinking I would only need to change the backing plate and rotor to get some bigger brakes. Is there a caliper spacer there too?

6X139 vs 6X114.3 bolt pattern so the rotors will not just slide on ... you would have to redrill them to fit ..

i have a hard time believing the spindles are the same - the toque member bolts on a titan/armada are huge and get torqued to 160ft/lbs. I don't think the front axles are the same either....i could be wrong, but i'd double check...
