I will also post. Have an 06 SE 4x4 black. Had it for 4 months now 43k. I have got new breaks put on by the dealer when i bought it. It snowed here 2 inches in cincinnati yesterday. My front breaks locked up really easy...

It was kind of scary. Owned a 87 Ford bronco II and a 91 explorer and they did not do this. Anyone else have this issue. I've been on these forums before i bought this car. Searched bar it and no results.

Your brakes shouldn't 'lock up' at all... the purpose of ABS. Is the ABS not working? Or by locking up, do you mean you hear the grind of the ABS engaging? If the latter, that is perfectly normal, and not a problem at all. ABS allows you to keep steering control on ice better than if the wheel is indeed locked up.

I should have taken some pictures yesterday when I woke up to 6" & still snowing. Anyway, I planned on taking some pictures today, but it wasn't snowing. And it was down to 8 degrees, so I was finally feeling the cold (I wear shorts year round). Old snow is lame, so I'll try to get a pic or two this week. I think we have storms hitting all week.

The only picture to represent my Pathy in snow is this one...

:D

That pretty much sums it up. It tears through 8" of snow like it's not there. I can't tell you the satisfaction I experience at a slushy stop light when the Prius next to me can't move and I pull away like the roads are dry.

I love my Truck!!!

yeah....sometimes i miss that stuff...but only sometimes  haven't needed to plug a truck in since early 2004.

can wait to get out to CO next week...will get some pics for sure somewhere along the way (pbby on the way from FC to DGO). sure my pathy would love an engine block heater for the trip, though.

Did the block heather came with the truck when you bought it or you had it installed by the dealer at the purchase ? Most of the times its listed as an option...
