macbell7, what have you decided on, this set up or PRG mini lift? I'm wondering what would be the pros and cont of each kit? PRG is a little cheaper, but this one seems to be more functional.

the front shocks were on special so I got it for 141.00 shipped, and the rear coils were 150.00 plus shipping, so total after shipping was about 312.00
Thats not bad, I dont know very much about prices for Path Lifts.

Could you post pics of the shocks in the car, and if you have any of how you did this project, thanks

I'm more than likely going with the bilstein adjustable and the lift coils since that set-up seems better for off road use. I was planning on waiting till i get a little more cash saved up to get a set of bigger tires to go with it. No use riding around with small stock tires.

Anyone happen to know if my existing AirLift1000's will work with the longer springs being used here?

Nice Pathy.
Can you jack up the front and see if the upper control is setting on the coil bucket? I want to see if this lift will cause coil bucket contact like a spacer lift would.

Pic's would be helpful.

I took some pix of it just sitting the way it would normally, but are you trying to see if it contacts at full drop?

love the thread, thanks.

being pretty ignorant to suspension details in general, if i wanted to do this, new shocks on front and stiffer springs on back, are there any other concerns that need to be addressed? such as, new control arms, longer brake lines, or perhaps something else entirely?

also, how hard was it to get the alignment back within spec?

sorry for all the questions, but i am eager to learn so i can get my pathy on par to show some of these pickups out here what a real body on frame pathy can do. :D

thanks

well, because 2 in isn't that big of a lift nothing else is needed, but I would recommend new rear shocks while your down there, also you will need a camber kit to get the alignment back in spec, you can buy em from napa, dealer or Greg at PRG. Anymore questions let me know, love helping another pathy enthusiast.

The Airlifts work great with the extended springs.

Yes at full drop.
With a spacer lift the upper control arm will hit the coil bucket at full drop and limit suspension travel.

Where did you get your camber kit? Do you have a part # for the camber kit?

Thanks, I'm thinking of getting a setup similar to yours but I didn't think about the camber kit. Now I just gotta find a good price for all this stuff. :D

Very new to this, so forgive the ignorance. But, why would I have to get a camber kit?
I just bought BFG All-Terrain T/A KO tires yesterday, 265/75/R16 for my 05 SE. Do you think this lift would make them look too small? They have an aggressive tread and look good now. THanks!
