there is an area in the empty quarter of the saudi desert that crosses part into the Emirates.

its called Liwa (part of the Rub el Khali Desert).

very technical dunes, massive climbs, huge pitfalls, and most of all amazing sands u can drive on!!

Nice pics! Looks like a lot of fun. The only sand in my neck of the woods is the stuff you sink into mid-wheel.

We have some dunes a few hours north at Pismo beach...nothing like that though...I haven't tried my rig in the sand...I guess its time.

I hope you dont end up like that guy! Looks fun around there. But i would leave that kind of a place for ATV's and MX's.
