How can i keep the foglights on?

Postby Slaxl » Mon Dec 28, 2009 10:31 am

Hi guys - haven't posted in a while but i wanted to ask - is there some slight modification that can be done where i can have the foglights stay on even with high beam?

For eg. - i know there are cars that as long as the park light is on you can turn on the foglight swtich and it comes on - or even with the high beams on the foglights stay on as well - i dunno its just that sometimes with the high beam on id like to have the foglights stay on as well.

Thanks for any assistance or thoughts or ideas. :)

sorry guys - didn't say that it was a 2001 Pathfinder SE - my bad

Find a wiring diagram...reroute to switch in parallel with low beams. They will stay on regardless of the low/hi beams being on/off/whatever.

They switch in series with the low beam, i.e. the low beams have to be on for the fogs to turn on.

I've noticed that on cars for years. Why do they switch off when the high beams are on. not like your going to offend anyone any more than youare with the high beams already on.
