Exhaust and Tires

Postby Brix542 » Thu Dec 03, 2009 5:54 pm

Hey just got a 1988 pathfinder. I want to make the exhaust louder and still sound good. Been thinking bout getting a cherry bomb glasspack. Anyone know how that sounds on the 3.0? I also want to put 31x10.50s on it. Would that require any lift or cutting? Thank you.

I'm usin 31x10.50 tires right now, and if I'm really movin' it'll rub a little bit on the stock fender flares. That is, until I lifted the front end with the torsions a bit, and the rubbing went away for me. check your wheel alignment afterwards tho if you do that, hehe.

the 31" tires were an option, they should work fine. Like the other poster said you might need to adjust the torsions a little as I am sure they have sagged. You can search you tube for exhaust clips. I test drove one the other day that had a flowmaster and it sounded decent. I will probally go with a magnaflow or a flowmaster.
