I have a black 06 path that has a ton of scratches and swirl marks on it. I have NO detailing experience at all and have never used a polisher before. I purchased the Megs DA polisher along with some Megs Ultimate Compound and I must say this combo is like magic.

My process:

1. Washed with the new NXT wash
2. Clay bar - (never knew this process existed) using a Megs Clay Bar Kit
3.Ultimate Compound with the GV110V2 (tried the scratch x 2.0, but it didn't do the job)
4. Polish Megs Deep Crystal Polish (I think it is called)
5. Wax using Megs NXT 2.0 paste

I did not have enough Compound to finish the truck. If the weather is nice next weekend, I plan to take some before and after pics.

I must say that I am very impressed with the Meguiars line of products. I was in the process of getting estimates on a new paint job but it looks like I will be able to save myself thousands.
