Does VDC affect shifts?

Postby twinblown » Wed Apr 21, 2010 4:20 pm

It seems that when I turn the VDC to OFF the transmission seems to shift better with no lag and even down shifting seems a bit quicker. Is it just me or does the VDC have something to do with the transmission behavior. In city driving I have been turning it OFF

it does it will up shift or short sift under aggressive driving, turn it off and it will hold gears especially the lower ones much better.

I would expect that the answer is yes, albeit indirectly. The VDC affects throttle, throttle affects trans shifts.
