Dumb Cargo Net Question

Postby Kidd_Funkadelic » Wed Jun 16, 2010 7:43 am

OK, this is probably obvious, but I just bought my '05 Pathy and want to know the proper way the cargo net is used.

I SUSPECT it's the 6 metal anchor points on the floor of the cargo area?

The reason I'm confused is that the net in my Charger is vertically mounted to hold things in it, so the concept of using the net to hold things on the floor seems weird. Most things stay in place on their own, unless you transport the occasional bowling ball :)

The other reason I'm unsure is there are a few places on the sides of the cargo area that could hold the hooks but they aren't oriented right to hold all six hooks...

Also, can the same net be used to hold things on the roof?

Thanks in advance.
KF

Be cautious with those "metal anchor" points. They are actually chrome plated plastic, or a really cheap pot-metal... they break easily.

x2. I put maybe 30 pounds of pressure on a tie down strap, and it pulled right out.
