Manual Transmission Sticking

Postby JC » Tue Jun 22, 2010 4:51 am

'97 PF w/ 5 spd, 120,000 miles: has driven fine the six months I've had it, but lately the clutch pedal has been sticking to the floor and I'm having trouble shifting it from neutral into any gear. Also, if it is parked in gear, when I start it up in the morning it is very difficult to shift back into neutral. I don't see any leaking tranny fluid and the clutch slave is full. What seems to fix it temporarily is repeatedly pushing the clutch pedal in and out. Thanks for any help.

Took it to the shop - bad master cylinder plus air pocket in the tranny fluid.
