Aftermarket Wheels

Postby Just_Visiting » Sat Aug 19, 2006 12:32 am

Anybody changed their factory wheels out for something new? I've found a couple of wheels that look good (20's and 22's). Seems like the only place to see are on www.cardomain.com. I was concerned about the ride comfort, but some seem to claim that even with a 40 series tire, ride quality isn't sacrificed......

Wheels are scarce for these. I saw some 17X8s on Discount Tire's website finally, but not sure if I like them enough to buy them. I just bought bigger 16" tires 1.5 months ago and hate to have to start over again unless the package is perfect.

I checked again this morning and they have a design in 17X8 by MB Wheels:

and two designs available in 20":

As an aside, I will say I like the bigger Nitto Terra Grapplers I bought though. Initially I thought they were a little too agressive on the sidewall, but they stand out and should work well under all on/off road conditions I will encounter. I have about 3k miles on them without complaint.

Do you have any pics danny? Those are the specs that I'm looking at. I'm caught between 20's and 22's.

Is there anything special to mounting the tire pressure sensors in new rims, will they fit all rims ? will a tire dealer be able to do it ? do you have to take them to a Nissan dealer ?

I'm on the lookout for some 16" or 17" chrome rims.

Enkie has a couple nice wheels , RTS and RT6 , also NISMO is building a wheels for these now in 18" ...there are a few others ... The big problem is offsets and fitting the calipers ...

I just went with some LE 17" wheels am having them refinished in a light gunmetal .....and running a 275-60-17 Falken HR rated tire .....
