Brand recommendations? / avoidances?

I went OE from the dealer. Expensive, but no issues.

for those of you that have installed aftermarket brake pads (front or rear), did they come with new hardware kits, or did you re-install the OEM hardware with the aftermarket pads?

I just replaced the pads and the metal shim.

Re used the oem hardware

Whoops, I just realized I never updated this post.

I went with http://www.frozenrotors.com/ for rotors and HAWK pads.

I can stop on a DIME, AND give you .08 cent change! But oooohhh the brake dust from these hawks is brutal. BRUTAL. 3 days, and I'm washing wheels. Next set of pads will be factory, but the rotors are PERFECT, they still look new and I've already piled on 12k since Sept.. (I've got 82K on my 08 v6)
