2008 Pathfinder LE V8 Tires

Postby clubster » Mon Nov 29, 2010 6:39 pm

I am needing to replace the factory BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A's on my Pathfinder and am wanting to check with you guys on better tires before I go ahead and grab another set. I would prefer a slightly more aggressive tred without looking OFF ROAD but tamed like the factory ones do since 95% of the time it will be on road. Right now it uses the 265/60 18 tires. Thx!

I love my REV02s. They offer a P265/60/18 in them. They are a pretty aggressive tread, but quite honestly the quietest tires I've ever driven on.

Mine are 265/75/16, but the LT version. Tread is the same, but not as deep on the P version (12mm vs 16mm).

The REVO is certainly tough to beat if you actually need/want an AT tire. I've had them in the past and that certainly sounds like something that will work for you. IMHO they're about the most capable AT that still handles pretty decent on-road. I was very close to going with them this time but the roads I'm driving chew up tires very quickly. I destroyed my last set of Revo's in 30k miles on my Tundra. That's a hard pill to swallow for the price.

I keep hearing that the REV0's were bad for wear, and that the REV02's were supposed to address that. That being said, I only have 10000km on these tires. They look like they will wear forever, especially with the 16mm tread depth. But I'm not in a position (yet) to comment on that aspect of these tires.

30000mi = 48000km, I too would be disappointed in these numbers. Hoping to get 60000-75000km outta these tires (38000-46000mi).

I'm sure it depends how/where you're driving. I drive nothing but twisty high-speed roads. I bought this PF in January with 14k miles. The OEM Generals looked brand new. The gal I bought it from only drove on the highway for the most part. I tossed them last month with 35k miles and they were down to 4/32nds. I had the REVO 2's on my Tundra. I put them on two winters ago and burned them off in one year.
