Here is the bypass diagram: Its an easy fix.

#1 thing you need to do is check the tranny fluid to see if its contaminated or not. If not, bypass it as soon as you buy it.

#2 check the cats because I think they are around 2k to replace if they are shot.

The 265/65R17 are fine also.

The are different interiors available in european PF's. For examples take look here.
As for diesel engines i've heard that chains need to be replaced at 100.000-150.000 km and would cost about 1500€.

On tranny bypass be sure that your path has a separate rad for tranny.

Btw, my path is petrol and it does not have a separate tranny cooler.

Sorry.... I didn't know the European Pathfinders didn't come with the Tranny cooler. All the North American Pathfinders come with it.

I would have loved to bought a Diesel Pathfinder!!!

Do they offer them here in the USA?

I cannot afford Petrol Pathfinder because 1l of petrol is 1,3Eur which is 1,64 dollar :) and Petrol vs Diesel you cannot compare because of consumption.

Hello again :)

I just want to get some opinion from you again please.
What do you think for Path 2005 year around 100.000km?
Will you buy 2005 or it is better to buy 2006/2007 year of made because 2005 were first new Pathfinders?

Do they have some problems 2005 years of models or are all the same 2005/2006/2007...?

I'm asking this because I saw some nice 2005 model for 15.000 eur.
And If I compare 2007/2008 year the are around 21.000 eur.
It is difference of 6.000 euros.
It is 3 years older but model is the same?
Are any big services around 100.000km?

What do you think?

2005, 2006, 2007 paths should be same. So, it depends of condition of car. Some newer might be a lot worse than older. I'm not sure about services with diesel, but according to service manual, the interval is 15.000km and every 30.000th is "bigger service".

I had to replace all wheelbearings and battery between 90.000 an 105.000km.

Here in Slovenia are service interval every 30.000km.

And what do you replace at bigger service?
Are any other bigger service up to 100.000km?
Because I want to buy pathfinder 2005 with 116.000km.

Also I need one more opinion.

Is any way how to check if on 2005 Pathfinder with 116.000km are those kilometers real?

Thank you

If it was me, I will check the battery first or at least run a diagnostic or parasitic test to verify if there are some problems with the car. But the diagram you presented looks great and useful. It was really a good advice.

I still did not found answer for something.

Let's say Pajero has rear and middle 100% lock dif

Pathfinder has middle 100% dif but no rear or front.
But it has ESP+TCS (traction control)... Is this stuff also good as 100% lock dif?

I will go to check this one:

http://www.avto.net/_AVTO/ad.asp?ID=4473763&show=1

But interior is maybe bad bucause it is in cream color and not dark... Maybe sun will shine inside? :)
