I've done a similar mod on my Lightning. It required trimming out a plastic piece on the switch, which was located in the dash. The piece served as a lockout behind the knob.
With the light switch being in the turn signal cluster, I was hesitant about getting into it. I'm sure there's a way to achieve it by running a jumper to the fog lamp switch, but that's beyond me. I imagine someone here can figure it out.

I'd love to do this mod, but I'm afraid since the fog relay and all associated circuitry with the lights are integrated into the fabled integrated power distribution module (IPDM). I am thinking of just bypassing the factory wiring, and installing a seperate switch/relay off the park lights to turn the fogs on/off.
