factory mudflaps

Postby khaosduke » Thu Feb 10, 2011 1:54 pm

Hello all, with the ice in road etc... one of my factory mudflaps just snapped off when it hit a patch of ice! It just sheared clean off. I noticed it's held into place by about 3 clips; that clip onto a thin strip of plastic that seems to be part of the body panel (this is the right rear flap). This design seems a bit stupid but in any case it's what I have... I wanted to know if anyone here has had this problem and how they solved it. I was thinking of using epoxy or gorilla glue to glue the plastic strip back on then just reclip the mud flat. Any ideas? Thanks! oh this is a 05 pathfinder le... Thanks again!

When I bought mine, i had my front passenger MF loose so I took it off and about all of the holes were stripped. I epoxied a small piece of ABS to each one and just made new holes into it.

Seems to have held up great.
