It sounds like the mettle rod that holds the hood up is rattling on something but I removed the rod and it still does it. My 03 has only 99,000 miles on it and it has never been back to the dealer or anyone else since I bought it new. I've always done all my fuild changes myself and it has been flawless for the last 8 years, except for the rattle. What should I look for?
