Upgraded

Traded in the 2008 for a 2010 SE today.

Were there big changes made to the suspension between the two models? The ride on the 2010 seems much better. I don't remeber my 08 being like that when I got it.

No changes I'm aware of. In fact I was just shopping suspension parts today because my sway-bar bushings are shot. Most all the suspension parts are the same from 08+.

Any difference in tires? The OEM Generals that came on mine were never as smooth as the Michelins I'm running now.

Suspension is the same. But when the stock shocks are gone, man...are they gone. And they're not very good to begin with. That's probably what you noticed.

08 to 10 are you leasing the vehicles? That's a quick trade in. Have to post pics of both the old and new.

I didn't realize there were still any 10's sitting around. I wonder how high the incentives are? Used market is very strong right now...I bought mine very slightly used about 18 months ago and now have 45k miles. I was just offered $2k less than I paid for it and that was TRADE on an invoice deal for a new truck.

That's a good sign that they offered only 2k less than what you bought it for almost 2years ago. Looks like what ever truck you were trying to buy, they are trying to push hard and sell.

No lease just got concerned with what I bought so I decided to let it be someone else's worry. I bought it in 2009 with 28,000 miles on it. It ran strong at first but lately it has been acting odd. Slow to accelerate, sputtering, etc. Did some home work and found out it was a rental for those first 28,000 miles. That really got me worried. I did buy the extended warranty on the 08 but I just didn't want to deal with all that will go wrong over the next 50 thousand miles.

So I went back to the dealer I got it from and told them to give me a good deal. I bought it for 18, paid it down to 13 and was offered 15. Picked up the 10 SE with the Journey package for 25.

The 08 did have General tires while the 10 has Michelins. Can't believe the difference it makes.

I'll get to pics someday.
