k & N FIPK kit intsalled and not running right

Postby porter7853 » Wed Apr 13, 2011 7:53 am

I installled a K & N FIPK kit last night and it seems to cut the engine out any time there is quick acceleration or if I go over 2500 RPM. Is there any on who might know of a quick fix?

Thanks

Go back and make sure all the connections are correct and that the mass air flow sensor is facing the correct direction of the air flow and is plugged in.

Since you've already checked the connections, i would recommend putting your airbox back in and see if it still does it? Have you tried unpluging your battery to reset your PCM? It will need to relearn itself now with the differnt amount of air that can travel through the intake.
