Yea I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know if this same procedure can be done on an 05? I've got symptoms that were described above almost to a T.

I'm not good with all that Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor (FTS)and Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid stuff. Its all greek to me. If anyone can give me some insight as to what these things do I might be more inclined to try and save some money and fix this myself.
