Brake Light Sensor

This is probably an easy fix, just wondering if anyone else has had the issue and what they did. When in park and on the brake, the lights work, however when driving down the road and push the brake, the lights don't come on... Thanks.

There should be a brake swith near the brake pedal. However this sounds like a possible bad ground near the shifter. When in park it makes a good connection, but once you move the gear shifter away from the forward position it creates a week connection. This is only speculation, but it's something you could look into. Sorry not more help than this.
