The tires he put on, 285/60/18s are a 31.4 inch tire. I have a similar set up with 265/70/17 which are a 31.6 inch tire. NO problems with rubbing or gearing with mine. Just a reduction in MPG as the tires I have are heavier and meatier. :twisted:

I got the underated 317 hp V8. I felt no difference in power with the bigger tires. They are less than an inch taller than the stock tires. Interestingly they made the speedometer much more precise compare to a GPS. MPG did suffer a bit more than I wish....overall more than 2 MPG

humm, those deleted running boards do look pretty good...

but i use those when putting on/off my snowboard boots so i don't get crap inside the car.....dang it, what to do, what to do...

Easy ... Rock Sliders, protects as well as a platform to step on. Looks a lot better too! Two great choices, SuperSliders or Shrockworks.
