Lug Nut Torque Specs

Postby Rotinaj » Sun Apr 15, 2012 2:40 pm

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and Pathfinder ownership. I have a 2011 SV 4x4 and had my first issue the other day. I had a flat tire and had the worst time getting the lug nuts loose. I used a 40 inch breaker bar and the nuts would barely budge. Until yesterday all the maintance had been done by the dealer. I suspect they used an impact wrench to tighten down after the last tire rotation.

Does any one know the correct torque spec for the lug nuts? I am going to have to break them all loose and get them to the proper spec or a flat tire will be a bad day.

Thanks!

Thanks! I thought I read it was 125 but for the life of me I cannot remember where I found it. Must not have been correct and the dealer had to have used an impact wrench.

I got my info from the Nissan Pathfinder Owner's Manual. Chapter 6 page 7 (In Case of Emergencies).

If you don't have one you can download it from here: http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/deptog.aspx?dept_id=36
