1991 Pathfinder XE radio - How do I get it out of there?

Postby danrulz98 » Sat Sep 15, 2012 12:55 pm

Hello,
I've been trying to figure out how to get the radio out of my pathfinder for a while now.
I can't seem to find panels that cover up the DIN hole in the dash on the sides, and I don't want to just rip everything apart to find that I only had to undo one or two small things.

So, I'm curious, does anyone have instructions on just getting behind the stereo to get it pulled out?

The stereo I have is an aftermarket Kenwood CD player, circa 1999. Of cource I don't have any of its accessories, so I made some pullers that I can use to get it out of the DIN socket. However, I think it is held in with a nut at the back of the unit, so I need to get behind it.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
