Well guys it's been real..unloaded pathy today. Loved the truck sometimes but the fuel economy was just sucking. I'll be riding off in a 2012 terrain. Thanks for all the advise on the pathfinder. 8)

Yokahoma 275/60/18

Postby otter712 » Sun Sep 16, 2012 10:25 pm

2006 SE with 18 inch LE rims and Yokahoma 275/60/18 (31 inch). 30K miles on them so far, highly recommended, little bouncy sometimes at high speed (80+) on highway, excellent in heavy rain, excellent dry traction and good in snow (no "rubbing"). Expect to get another 15-20 out of them. Driving style: Sporty! Gas milage: and amazing (considering my driving style) 18 MPG (average according to trip computer). Recently installed Heavy Duty Bilstein Front Coil Over Shocks & Heavy Duty Bilstein Rear Shocks, a significant improvement in ride comfort (less bouncy). Looking to lower the front .5 to .75 inches. Any advice?

And one close up from a different angle just after a (highway) deer encounter (75 mph and no time to even touch the brakes). Damage, $5700. Drove the car for another 3 days to and from work, a 90 mile roundtrip, before I had time to bring it to the dealer, this thing is a BEAST !

I fell in love when I got her and still am. The only gripes I have is the high seating position and non telescopic steering wheel.

doctah, how much did it cost you to get those rimmed plasti-dipped? and what is the process?

I didn't see another Pathfinder for 4 days. They must have known I wasn't a local.

I think I know which truck I am getting next :D. This is one of the small ones. The big brother has two rear axles and 10 ten tires at $50k a piece. They have to replace the tires every three months a for $2 million a load truck and there are dozens of these roaming around each mine and there are 5 mines in the region
