I have the same issue with my truck as well. Its funny, while driving around town, I have to turn down the temp to 65 just so we dont sweat our juevos off. on a nice cold morning with frost on the windows, I would start the car and let it sit to warm up with the fan blowing. when I get into the car, the air is cold and the window is still fogged up. but as soon as I leave the driveway and get the rpm's up the heat comes too. Weird right? well I took it to the dealer and told them what the situation was and exactly how i wrote here, they had it for a day and told me the temp is dead on with the setting for them. they said they had it set up to 90 and it worked fine for them. i havent had the chance to try that yet, because i am impatient and dont like to sit there and hold the electronic temp adjuster to go that high. seems to me that if i am driving around set at 70 and it is almost too much to handle, wouldnt it be the same for the car to sit and warm up too?
anyway, It is the same old same old thing when you take your car to the mechanic, it doesnt act up like it does for you at home.
But i do love my '06 pathfinder, I am just now coming across cool things that i can do to it. the 7-pin harness and the airlift 1000 kit is my next project for this spring. we towed a rather heavy pop-up trailer with electric breaks with my tacoma last year but it was cramped, so we want to do the same this year with the pathfinder instead.
can't wait to put some of the nice things on it that i have seen on this message board.
