from your sig, you've owned both? why not list all the things you found different.

body:
revised front bumper extended more to front
revised rear bumper less "edgy" and smoother curves
rear tailgate vertical edges removed

interior:
multimedia package (dvd/nav/reverse cam)
middle row headrests

engine:
2008+ resolved the rad/tranny issue (hopefully... none reported so far)

cant think of anymore

Actually, I've heard of a few '08's that have had the radiator cooler fail, so I think we are still waiting for when this issue was resolved. Going by Nissan's extended warranty, I would have to think the "updated" radiators weren't officiall introduced until the 2011 MY. The big differance occured in 2008, when Nissan did a "model refresh" of the R51 Pathfinder. The 5.6L-V8 was made available in 2008, which is why the nose of the vehicle was extended (as previously mentioned). This also means the headlamps are differant from 05-07 MY to 08-and-later MY. One thing I noticed between my 06 and my friend's 08 (both V6) is the exhaust is a little differant. The 06 pipe merges together at the main muffler inlet whereas the 08 pipes merge together and then a single pipe enters the front of the muffler. The 06 has a bleeder nipple with a cap on the coolant "T" and the 08 doesn't have the nipple at all. Earlier years had "Pathfinder" on the side of the roof rails whereas later models didn't. Earlier V6 models are rated at 270HP while later are rated at 267HP. I'm sure there are a number of small differances made over the years.

Do the newer Pathys still come with the first aid kit in the rear hatch like my 06 ? Also.. I think I saw a post once saying the newer models didn't have the "smugglers box" under the middle seat ?? Not sure.

my 2011 has a first aid kit in the rear lift gate. Not sure what the smugglers box is.

Anyone have a side by side image of the old vs new R51?
