Replacing Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR)- Any Tips?

Postby specopbookie » Sun Jun 02, 2013 3:39 pm

So I have a very bad fuel pressure regulator. I've located the vacuum hose leading to the FPR from the back of the intake manifold. Tested the line and fuel was spewing. I have purchased a new regulator and am about to tackle replacing the defective one. Obviously the rear of the engine is pretty tight. Does anyone have any tips to accessing it easily? I have a feeling I may have to remove the manifold/plenum but if there is a way to just access it without messing with much of anything else I'd like to try that route first. Thank you in advance for your help!!!
