i finally got to put the suspension & yokos to a test this past weekend. went camping out around lake mead (bonelli bay area). did a lot of driving on 4x4 only and 4x4 'recommended' roads...haha...i'd love to have seen the person that said "well it only said it was recommended...".
lotsa fun, OME and tires paid off in full on that. the terrain range from sand (both wet and dry) to graded dirt to rocky to pointed rocky. couldn't be happier w/ my tires at this point...clawed up some sketching looking climbs, mananged to get me unstuck after i stuck myself in some nasty beach stuff (silty wet sand), kept me moving fwd in the dry sand.
and the graded dirty road from temple bar road to bonelli bay was hill-arious...like a rollercoaster (tons o'fun)! OME ate it all up.
but i digress, as the title of the thread is tires. the yoko's handled it all and i would recommend them to neone. (haven't hit some of the nonsense i threw at the geo II+ yet, but am confident they will do fine when i do)
