Which direction do I install my rear hatch struts?

Postby taiden » Thu Jul 25, 2013 2:47 pm

Hi there,

I got the junkiest Pathfinder recently, and it had no rear hatch struts. (Go figure?) I was wondering if someone could tell me which way the cartridge is supposed to be mounted.

Cartridge top, shaft bottom?

or

Cartridge bottom, shaft top?

Thanks all
Luke

Cartridge on top. Mine has a ball on the cartridge end that would not go into the v slot on the bottom.

Sorry, the hatch shocks are installed the same way. I see they have the same ends though. I was looking at the glass struts.
