Where did you get in your wire, back door ?

Cheers,

Pedro
Hey Pedro,

I ran the wire from my dash, along the bottom door sills, behind the driver's side rear panel in the cargo area, and exited through the rubber grommet/loom thing for the back door... definitely use a relay. I added a fuse block under the center console since I was also adding rear LED lights. I don't have a wiring diagram but learned a lot from this post on the newx.org:

your projectors

goblue,

will the fxr fit the 05 even with modification or are the bowls too shallow to fit the projector and shroud? I would like to know if to get the fxr or the morimoto minis.... I know you put frontier lights on your path but I dont want to go that route.

Hey HydroPonix,

There have been several members on clubfrontier.org that have used fxrs in their 05 - 07 Frontiers (share the same front end as 05 - 07 Pathfinders) but I was never able to do it to my liking. I think the minis would be easier to work with. Keep us posted on what you decide to do!

the morimoto d2s minis fit very snug... and requires some cutting, not done yet... unfortunately, but soon!

Do you have a thread or anything for what you did with the dually backup lights? My tints make it harder to back up at night so looking for some extra light

No thread/write-up, and the backup lights are roof-mounted, so i don't use them during everyday driving. What I do have which helps are superbright LED reverse lights: http://www.jlclightings.com/CREE-5W-Hig ... -39008.htm. These bulbs are amazingly bright and should help you see better through your tint. Check out this thread on clubfrontier.org: http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f10/ ... hts-70014/

Before you order, make sure it fits your ride (which it should since you have an 05 as well). Use this website for a lamp replacement guide: http://www.sylvania.com/en-us/applicati ... gmain.aspx. Hope this helps!

Wow pretty big difference on that frontier between that bulb and the stock! So you just pulled the old bulb out and put that one in on your 05? No mods needed?

That's correct. Remove the old bulb and replace it with the one from JLC. No modification required.

Yeah, that's definitely not the right item. I hope they're able to send you the right one without any other hiccups.
