2006 Push pin fin console box

Postby allisojh » Sun May 13, 2012 12:19 pm

looking to replace my broken box.

i pulled the part out of the vehicle and the part number is: 96941 EA160.

I checked a schematic on nissanpartszone.com and part number doesn't show but there is a picture with a number.

On the diagram its 96933N

partszone gives the part number as: 96933 EA100.

Two questions:

1. This new number does jibe with the picture they show so i want to hear it from you guys.
2. I can't tell which one is mine, they offer three choices.

I have a 2006 SE 4x4. And none give a color.
Are they all the same?
My console box is silver plastic.

These are my three choices and i am thinking its #3:

96933N Pathfinder PUSH PIN-FIN CONSOLE
96933-EA100 2004.08-2005.09 *W. 2WD. (XE+ SE) + *W. STD
$65.25

96933N Pathfinder PUSH PIN-FIN CONSOLE
96933-EA100 2004.08-2005.09 W. 2WD. (XE+ SE) + W. STD
$65.25

96933N Pathfinder PUSH PIN-FIN CONSOLE
96933-EA100 2005.09-2007.04 W. 2WD. (SE+ S+ SE-OR) + W. STD
$65.25

Thanks for your help!!!

Those 3 choices are all the same part number, thus, all the same part. If I'm not mistaken, they are all silver except for the "LE" trim level, which is simulated wood grain.

Mine is broken too. I put a coin in there to keep it closed and then when you push down on the top the coin drops down into the compartment and it opens! I really only used that for extra change anyways so it works out well. Cost: $0.00! Effort: 0. That door was broken when I got it and the dealer wanted like $100 to fix it, i said no way to paying that

My tap broke off & superglue didn't work. Any other fix besides replacement?

Sorry to revive an old(er) thread, but does anyone know how to take the push-pin console out? The latch is broken and I want to replace it (on a "new to me 2008 S Pathy).

broke when i got it, slid a small pice of a chip from a broken usb drive in it and it stays closed. looks better closed, you could try putting some clear silicone all around the inside of the cover and perminately sealing it down.
