Naches Trail in Washington State

Postby Starbux » Thu Nov 14, 2013 11:24 pm

Last week I got an invite to go with a local off roading club to the mountains. I asked them if my stock Pathfinder would be ok and they told me it was a green trail and should be fine.

I arrive and they were like... bro you actually are going in that thing? I said sure why not... if it gets too sketchy I will turn around.

After waiting for everyone... it turns out that I was the only non jeep lol

We make it up to the summit and the snow and ice started to show. I was nervous but hey might as well try

With the jeeps light at Fack compared to the Pathfinder.. they were bouncing all over and loosing traction. One guy even broke an axle I believe.

We stopped and that is when this Comanche decided to get stuck on a stump ahahh..

I started in the back of the group but after the stop they wanted me in second place just incase I get stuck or what not.

Only time I got stuck was when the Jeep in front needed more room to make a run up a hill and I drifted back into a snow bank. I couldn't get my fat ass out of it lol.

We make it to the top of the trail and this old school 4runner that was completely decked out stopped right at my truck and stated " holy shit that is very fuckin impressive for a stock pathfinder to make it up here all the way"

another group of jeeps even stated " Pathfinders are never trail blockers. They just truck through it all "

After earning the respect form everyone lol... they were all shocked and awed by the pathfinder. Some even said they were trading in their jeeps for one ahahaha...

The thing that got me the most... the jeeps had to chain up and I didnt...

What tires do you have?

Most of those jeeps look like they have MT's, which are horrendous in the packed snow/ice, pretty good in the deep stuff.
