'92 with codes 21, 34 and 51
Try as I might I can't find answers to how to cure these codes. I've used the guides on the forum to get the codes from the ECU. After I reset the ECU the 34 code went away but I read that this can be common. Am I right thinking that the 21 code is the ignition module on the back side of the ignition 'coil'? Also, does code 51 deal with the injectors themselves? The check engine light doesn't stay on all the time. I will go on and off under different degrees of accel or decel. 95% of the time the tranny doesn't downshift properly when coming to a stop. RPM drops and vehicle shudders. Feels like its missing when RPM's come up to around 2K. I know a lot of questions all at once but can someone help me out. Most importantly clearing the engine codes so I can get her smogged here I Cali.
