I know that the 05-07 projector headlight will not fit the 08 bc of the modification nissan made to fit the v8.
With that being said....Has anyone tried to match up the projector headlights to the 08 headlight slot? Is it that far off?.....Basically is there anyway to shave it or mod it so that it would fit? I know the tabs are off but something like that you can move the tabs so that they work.....Is it possibly to mod those projector head lights so that we can get them to fit into the 08 pathfinder headlight slot.

The headlight housing shapes are completely different. The '08+ lenses are more angled on the sides and more slanted up front. It'd be like trying to make a Hyundai headlight fit.
There are companies that will retrofit the internals of your existing housings with projectors. Not sure how long that takes, though.
