Can you install factory bluetooth into 09 pathfinder SE

Postby jpdad04 » Thu Jan 23, 2014 10:00 pm

I have a 2009 pathfinder SE with Bose and 7" screen(no nav). It has the audio steering wheel controls and back up camera. But no bluetooth.
I would like to install factory OEM bluetooth. Is it possible???? If so, what do I need? module, programming, etc???
Thanks

I have the same setup as you. Bluetooth seems to be pretty rare on these and the few that I've seen have it around here said the microphone is terrible/useless. I had the same thought as you but I'm not going to even attempt if the sound quality is that bad. Plus it doesn't offer streaming music.

I've looked at some of the Parrot systems. The Mki9000 looks like it would have the same basic functionality as the OEM system, but add a better mic and music controls. There's also an accessory to add the steering wheel controls.

Did you guys ever install this system? I would love to keep as much of a stock look as possible but attain bluetooth for our phones.
