Odometer showing oooooo_

2008 pathfinder SE
Odometer is showing oooooo_ and beeping.
The illumination on the 4x4 and odometer LCD also seems to get dull when it beeps.
It also only seems to be happening when my nighttime lights are on(so far)
An input what's going on?[/list]

these trucks do some strange things when there is a battery and/or battery connection issue.
have you checked them?

I currently have the battery unplugged, I will go and reconnect it in about 15min

Mid-2000's Nissans have had some grounding issues, addressed in a TSB. You would need a scantool to check for CAN communication codes U1000 and U1001 to confirm if you vehicle might be addressed by the TSB, which basically give the ground point locations that need to be cleaned. Some are easy to get to and some, mostly those behind the dashboard, are not. it would not be a bad idea to check the charging system, first, especially with loads "on."

try turning your instrument cluster dimmer.
