Heat/AC fan controls

Postby XiBowhunter » Thu May 08, 2014 7:44 am

Fan knob on my 2005 Pathfinder will turn the fan down, but it wont speed the fan up. Is there any way to fix this, or do I need a new control?

Do you mean the fan only works on high speed? If so, you need a blower motor resistor.

No, I mean the actual knob that controls the fan speed. I can turn it down, but I can't turn it up.

ewww, that means its probs the knob is shot, which could suck as i think you need to replace that whole switch assy :( I've got the manual hvac controlls so im not sure if yours is one whole unit or they're individual switches

Would it be possible to replace the electric control asembly with the manual asembly?
