Hello from New York

Heyo! What's up everyone? I've been looking in to a couple 2012 Pathfinders that I'm interested in. Right now I'm in a 2013 Fusion, which has been nothing but a headache. Anything to watch out for in the 2012s? I've seen that 05-10 have radiator issues that usually result in a destroyed transmission... Was that resolved in 2010+? Thanks in advance :)

Welcome .. From what I am reading on this forum as well as the Frontier forum the radiator issue was resolved sometime in late 2010. The timing chain issue was supposed to also have been resolved or improved upon sometime in 2010. I recently purchased a 2012 with 7,500 miles and had the dealer run my vin and there were no recalls although I was reading there is a recall on 2012 models with the bolts that hold the oil cooler in place (where the oil filter attaches) and there is supposed to be some other recall on the 2012 I just can't recall off hand what it is. Anyway mine is not affected at the moment mine was built 11/11 as a 2012 model. The radiator and timing chain issue were the big ones and it looks like they were addressed. "Someone at Nissan hopefully lost there job over how long the fix took!"

That's definitely reassuring to hear. It puts the Pathfinder back in the list for a replacement vehicle. I test drove one the other day and loved it.
