Time for suspension upgrade. Please help with part# and link

Postby Lord Farquaad » Mon May 19, 2014 1:46 am

It is time to rip out the coils and shocks on my Pathfinder and install some new goodies. I want to get at least a 2" lift front and back.

On my shopping list at the moment is the following

Rancho RS999938 Quick Lift Loaded Strut x1
Rancho RS999922 Quick Lift Loaded Strut x1
Rancho RS999312 RS9000XL Series Shock x2
Rancho RS70077 Quick Lift Rear Kit x2
Rear coils I need an Amazon part number if someone can help please?

Alternatively
Bilstein (24-197434) 46mm Monotube Shock Absorber(REAR) x2
Bilstein (24-197427) 46mm Monotube Shock Absorber(FRONT) x2
I don't see any coil springs for sale for the Pathfinder. Anyone ??

The reason I am looking at Amazon at the moment is the fact that I need it shipped to South Africa and I have made use of them before. Some other sites do not ship here, but please suggest some and I will contact them wrt shipping to South Africa.

You guys can also dis the Rancho or Bilstein as I have no idea what to expect from them. I see both mentioned quite often here, so they can't be all that bad.

I think the Rancho Options are a good choice.

In any case, South Africa might have their oen options, but here's what's common in the states for the rear.

Rear spring/lift options:
