Power door locks not working

Postby dnav4684 » Thu May 08, 2014 8:45 pm

Hey Everyone. New Pathfinder owner here and I'm totally stoked. I bought a used 1998 Pathfinder 4x4 but the power door locks didn't work. The dealership is charging $150 just to diagnose the problem. I haven't been able to find info on what fuse is connected to the power locks. Plus, does anyone know if I do shave to replace the acuator, do I have to replace each one in all four doors and the trunk door? Thanks everyone.

So far this forum has been fantastic for helping me. As for your problem, from what I have read, if it is not the fuse or the ACC relay then it is the main switch in your drivers door that is not working. Do you get any noise at all when you hit lock and unlock?

I don't hear any noises from any of the doors when I press the switches. If it is the actuator in the doors, do I have to replace actuators in all doors (4 plus the trunk) or just the two front ones?
