Trying to find where I can mount my CB inside. Anyone have any suggestions? Pics would be nice! Thanks

dunno what an 01 pathy interior looks like, but my gigantic cb is mounted in the center armrest/console of my 06 frontier:

newer cbs are considerably smaller, and thus easier to mount/hide.

Yeah my counsole isn't that big, thanks for the idea though. Do you have external speaker running out of that?

i dont but i prolly should. i just leave the lid half-open when its in use. you choose a cb yet? maybe get an all-in-handset style one. then you only have a small connector box to hide instead of a big unit like mine.

something like this:

What about mounting it to the side of the console beside the passenger. Of course if you have people riding with you it might get a little uncomfortable for them. One option is to get one like harshreality said and put the main unit under your seat.

what was that? just an empty space when you replaced the head unit (from a double-din to single-din?) thats pretty nice. clean and out of the way. nice install.

Thanks! Yeah it was the tray they use under a aftermarket CD player to fill the space.. I had to cut it and I kept about an inch from the front (CB wouldn't fit in the space without cutting). It fit perfect after that, then I had to mod my bass leveler knob and put it on the side of the CB....

Now you have to update your sig with the CB. It sure is a little thing. Looks like my radio shack cb. I have to get a new antenna for it, since it got cut during a move.

At least it's inconspicuous, since it's set back. Good job.
