Flying colours!

Our first Pathfinder (1999) has been eaten up by salty Canadian roads and winters. Still runs like a dream.
So last week I bought a 1991, gambled on buying a 23 year old vehicle.
Single owner, meticulously maintained, stored indoors etc.
Almost too good to be true right?

In my area of the country, every vehicle needs to pass a safety inspection before deemed roadworthy (plates issued).

On the the drive home (temporary plates) I was pleasantly surprised to see everything, including the A/C worked.
Today we put it on the hoist and pulled of the NEW tires and wheels, for suspension, front end, brake inspection.

All floors, frame, suspension, front end, brakes, including pads were in excellent condition, and basically the old girl needs nothing to PASS it's safety inspection.

Has less than 120 k original miles on it.

Buying a car, cold, online, in a town 3 hrs away, on a hunch, and simply by trusting the seller's word and description could have been disastrous.

It's fire engine red, with the "sport" package, moon roof, towing package, leather, etc.
drives like a dream, and with carefully driving, can get decent gas mileage.
