Front license plate bracket installation

Postby CristianMTK » Thu Feb 19, 2015 8:31 pm

This might be a stupid question but i really need help with it before i start. Over the summer I had a bullbar installed on my 2008 Pathfinder SE and the mechanic never gave me back the license plate bracket and now i would like to take it off. I ordered one online from my local dealer and I received the bracket with two screws. I noticed that the two holes above where the license plate would actually be screwed on, doesn’t seem to have a groove in it for the screws. As i screw on the license plate, will the screws be big/tight enough that it won’t fall off? Or am i missing something else for the screws? I want to make sure i have everything I need before i take the bulbar off. https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A5Jp2udmGkstr1

The screws are self-tapping. As you tighten them, they will cut into the plastic.
