Changes in power with RPM?

Postby Kestral » Thu Jul 30, 2015 7:36 pm

I have noticed when passing or on the gas with my 2012 Pathfinder V6 when I pass say around 3,000-3,500 RPM the engine picks up. I was thinking is this could be the variable valve timing changing at that RPM?

When you say "picks up" do you mean more power? The HP is rising with the increase in RPM. Here is dyno chart. http://extremetruckperformance.com/wp-c ... -sheet.jpg

AZ_Path it feels like it gains a "Jump" right around 3-3,500 RPM. Not a normal RPM rise jump but a quick rise from that point on.

Hello
The same problem.
I think it is a fuel pump filter, which is located in fuel tank.
It may not so clear.
